Fully refundable deposit of £30 is required to ensure safe return of the tree.
We found customers enjoy choosing their tree so we will be providing pick up locations.
The trees are living and can be a little quirky. If you want a perfect, symmetrical tree, this might not be for you.
Yes. The tree must be watered daily. If you're away and can't arrange someone to water it, we suggest not renting this year.
Avoid placing it near a heat source. This can cause the tree to think it's spring and produce new shoots, which whilst it looks pretty does risk damaging the tree when it returns to cold conditions.
Nordmann Fir doesn’t grow well in pots over 4ft–5ft due to its large root ball. Norway Spruce is more sustainable and suitable for long-term pot growth. Plus, it smells beautifully piney! We will continue to experiment with all species.
Our trees can only spend about 3.5 weeks indoors to stay healthy. This might not work for everyone, but it helps ensure they survive for years to come.
If you know you can't return it, we advise not renting. Emergency returns are not offered, and we charge £100 to replace the tree.
Cancel 48 hours before 00:01 on your delivery day for a full refund minus admin costs. Within 48 hours, we’ll retain 75% of the cost.
Not necessarily! Some customers have used public transport, pedal bikes, or hired a car by the hour.
Yes! We deliver to your loading bay. You are responsible for moving the tree to/from your office floor. If you're closed over Christmas, we’ll arrange a pre Christmas collection from the delivery point.
Yes! Let us know on collection and we’ll mark it for return to you (conditions permitting). Trees over 7ft may not be suitable for return due to size limitations.
Tell us at collection and we’ll hold onto your deposit to secure the tree for next year. If you want your deposit back, the tree goes back into general stock.
Yes, but we can't guarantee the same tree as it will go back into the rental pool.
Likely, yes. As the tree grows, it may move into the next size range, and the price will adjust accordingly.
You may lose the bond if the tree is:
- Not returned
- Unavailable for collection
- Not watered and in poor condition
- Damaged or cut
- Returned with a broken or missing saucer (£3 charge)
After the tree and saucer are returned to the farm, in good condition, we will then process your refund.
Usually 30 litres. The top diameter is 41cm, and the height is 36cm. The pot narrows toward the bottom.
Yes! Please return it. A cracked or missing saucer will incur a £5 replacement charge.
This does make transporting easier, but take a look at our “Streeve” – a sleeve for a tree. Available for sale.
